which digitron is it...i saw one of the smaller ones mounted over the xtra speedo hole...i myself have a model 54...its too big for that so i made a bracket that goes off my steering shaft mount...that way it hangs between my bars and my dash...i even went to a fiberglass type hood after a few crashes that integrates it as my "new" dash.

let us know the model youre talking about.
Here is where I have mine mounted. REV*BARON made up a small angled bracket that we bolted in place. Yeah it isn't the safest place, but you just can't see anything on the dash with the tall risers..... I might move it down lower now that I have a year on the sled and know about where the temps run hottest.

thanks guys. ive got the same one as steve. il have to fab up a bracket and figure out where to mount it. i dont have the console on my sled so il figure out a place to mount it. but the bracket seems easy enough to put it anywhere.
here's a shot of my mod...i cut a square hole in front of my bars...you can just see the gauge sticking up.

I used the bracket that came with it and mounted my dt54 in front of my riser (between riser and tank). I stuck a bolt straight through the top of my steering post (Where the riser connects) added a few large washers tilted the gauge up towards me and tightened the nuts that was it. I figure it was the best place to protect my investment. If I crush the steering post the least of my worries will be the gauge.
heres my gauges that i run now, bright and easy to read
