I am making a new rack for my gade and I want to use dual taillamps, the original lite draws about 2.5 amps the new ones will draw about 5 amps with the brake on. I know it's not a big draw but I wasn't sure how much current is available when everything (heated shield, grips, high beams) is on.
thanks,
kevin

I thinkin of doing somthin similar but I think if you use led lights you should use less than the orignal bulb did ( I think) still workin on it.

You could use LED bulbs to be safe but I think you should be ok with regular bulbs especially with the SDI having a battery.
-Good luck

The SDI should be able to do it with its higher output magneto and all, might be touch and go on a carbed motor though.

With LED's the 2 of them will probably draw less than the original single bulb did.

any auto parts store should have 1157 led bulbs . You might have to do a little shoppin to find a good price.
