I run Diesel oil in my motorcycle so I thought I would ask if anyone uses it in their sled ??

Many many people use it in all small engine applications....it meets or more often exceeds manufactures requirements...i use it lots..not in my sled yet?Rotella T6 awesome oil..Been using Rotella for 50yrs.. I do use it in my 2021 Triumph 900 triple..

I run Rotella in my street bike too. Shifting was smoother after the switch from a "gasoline" 4S oil.

I'm on an 850, so I'll stick with the 2S oils.

Just add zinc? Kinda what all the fuss is about with diesel oil? I usually add it to 4 stroke lawnmower engines tractors anything metal on metal type valve train.

Usually one uses “diesel” type oil when they’re trying to get by with a motor issue. Ie blow bye or weak oil psi’s,etc. wouldn’t recommend it if everything is going ok.
not trying to start the oil debate but if its needed it from the start, it would be 110% recommended by now on what your putting it into.

I use the 5W - 40 Rotella in my Honda 4wheelers. It meets the Honda engine oil requirements. I also use it in a Dodge truck with the Cummins engine in the winter. Very high quality oil…

I run t6 5w-40.
I have used mobil 0w-40 too. European car formula

We run schaefers diesel oil in our 900 per whalen. However our 1200 engine builder told me not to put anything but brp oil change kits in it so i thought that was interesting. Both sleds are right on the doorstep of 50 psi for boost

Mobil 1. Ow40 European works great run it in 1200 and 900 turbo.

I have never seen 0w40 diesel oil
I know rotella makes it but I have never seen it in a store
IMO if your really wanted the best oil I would use amsoil 0w40
I change mine a lot so i use the cheap M1
