I have an 04 renegade with a fuel caddy, 1+1 seat, and rear tunnel bag. I am going to put a small hole in the black plastic behind the seat and also a hole on the underside of the 1+1 seat and run a braided bike cable through the seat, fuel caddy handle, and tunnel bag handle, and around the 1+1 seat frame and put a lock under there... that way it would be harder and take longer then just unhooking it and walking away......

does anyone else do this? any other ideas??

thanks

I lock my fuel caddy when I'm at any trail side stop where I'm going to be away from my sled for a length of time. I found that the cables on the market to lock PC's to desks are quite convenient to carry and use. Granted a pair of bolt cutters and it's buh-bye, but many of your run of the mill thieving scumbags don't carry bolt cutters with them. I think if you make it a little more difficult, they will look elsewhere. They're looking for the quick grab n' go.
