It will only pull to 7600 rpm I checked the compression 130 pto 135 mag warm at wot with a snap on gauge I checked the exhaust valves they are ok

sure its possible but first check your raves, if there gummed you can loose a good amount of r's. Are your plugs ok? Have you tryed adjusting your clutches? Depending on your mileage maybe you need a new primary spring also

I agree with the clutches. Give them both a good cleaning and possibly new springs and you might notice it going back to what it should be.

He did. At least thats how i read his post. As for your compression test. Toss the gauge away. Do a cylinder leak down test. My rings showed fairly decent compression but a leak down proved otherwise. Anything over 10% and you need rings.

It is probably your belt deflection. Adjust the clutch to match your belt wear or put on a fresh belt. The RPMs will come back. Happens to my 04 600HO too... Check your manual on how to adjust your deflection...
