Hopefully the township roads dept cooperates... 🤞 While we were discussing this the stub of L123 puzzled us. Maybe this reroute is just for this season? If it was permanent, it makes no sense to have that section of trail.

Chatting w/ a sledder from west of there earlier tonight. He's not sure what it was about. One of the reasons TOP A is red east of Moonbeam is that the Groundhog River is watered up pretty badly.

Any word on why TOP C is red south of SRF to the A106C intersection? Trails are open around it. I hope it's not a case of it's a season long closure.

Well, where to start. Arctic Riders are having beaver 🦫 pond issues, swamp issues, low snow issues. Groomer has been stuck on the Top C, and their side of the Abitibi Canyon. This season is having its challenges.

I got a reply from the PBR and yes pond issues, not logging causing issues on TOP C.

Heading up to Cochrane Sunday Feb. 5th. Staying at the Westway for 4 nights. Hoping for great trails and good temps!

Just got back from Cochrane tonight. Lots of traffic- Westway was packed, groomers are out day & night, they finally received some fresh snow earlier this week and colder temps finally to set the trails up firmer. A106C opened yesterday- due to reroute for water crossing.
Overall trails where good Hearst through Cochrane and south to Iroquois Falls. Yes, some groomer issues around SRF west side of canyon run is very rough(told), east side of canyon run fresh groomed, rode it yesterday. Thanks to District 14 & 15 for another good trip!
