Bent an a-arm on my s-36 front end and tweaked the s-mod on my 2008 renegade.

I bought a replacement lower left a-arm, SPI part SM-08205 (replaces OEM # 505073039), which is the same length, but after I installed it, I noticed slight differences with OEM where the shock and spindle mounts. The spindle now hits a bulky section of the a-arm and will not turn as sharp. The lower shock mounting holes also seem slightly higher than the OEM position.

Should I just grind down the bulky section of the a-arm? I attached photos of the OEM right a-arm, and the SPI left one.

I cant speak to whether the a-arm from SPI is different/correct/incorrect; but the picture of the left side spindle looks like the top of the spindle is bent back. It could just be the picture, but maybe compare these closer as it looks bent backwards from an impact.

I guess a follow up question would be: What model/year of sled would I find a replacement spindle from?

My machine is a Frankenstein of different model year's,so ordering parts can get annoying.

That spindle is from a RAS2 front end, I think that suspension came out in 2016. The RAS3 came out on the GEN4 sleds; so probably want to get a spindle from an XS chassis sled between 2016 and 2018 with the narrow front end. I think this is the one you need "505073579" part number pulled from a 2016 Summit, but I'm not 100%
