I know its been answered a million times but i cant seem to find it with the search, only get the 600 when i search for 800

Book says BR9ECS-5 .018
Sticker says BR9ECS .031

Plugs in the sled are BR9ECS-5's

So im guessing the BR9ECS-5's would be the right one for the sled, in which case that sucks because crappy tire only has BR9ECS's. The Doo dealer rapes you on the price of plugs, i can buy 4 plugs for the price of 1 from the dealer...

Same plugs, just different gaps. Correct gap is .8mm [.031"]

i guess so...

NGK's specs show the BR9ECS-5s as being the .018 gap and the BR9ECS as being .031

Maybe your dealer gapped them

I tried EYA's also. Seemed to pull about 100 more rpm with them.

According to BRP The Manual is wrong.
Gap for the 800 PT Carbed is .031.
That is what mine came with from the factory.
BUT BRP refuses to revise the manual nor to give ANYTHING to the the person who spent biig $$$$ (The end rider) to verify the gapping!!
BRP's customer service stinks!!

Chull ,
Sorry but Doug is correct !
In 05 there was a service bulletin From brp stating that the labels on sleds above the ecm on carbed sleds was incorrect.
Carbed sleds use a .018 gap Sdi -.031
Chk with your dealer have him look through the bulletins
