Got a 2016 wt skandic 600 ace and I have yet to hear the fan cut in. The temp gauge never goes past 4 bars and I was reading that the fan should cycle after shutdown to clear the snow but it doesn't. Is this normal?

I gather you checked the fuse to see if burnt or not?

I had the same issue a couple years back when I tested the fan operation. Looks like it was a dirty connection on the quick disconnect plug close to the fan.

Here's the link as to what I found.

Hope your problem is as easy to fix.

By the way, my fan doesn't cycle after I shut the sled down, but mine is a 2011, so not sure what the new sleds doo now.

Checked the fuse and connections and everything seems fine I guess maybe the new skidoos don't cycle the fan after shutdown The temp never goes above 4 bars so perhaps that's why I never hear it. I'm curious if someonelse has 16 with the 600 to see what there sled does.

Idling the machine for awhile should build up enough heat to turn the fan on.

Check the connections too, my buddy's 2015 tundra the cooling fan wasn't plugged in.

I've never heard my fan run on my Tundra either. I even ran it on a jumper wire to make sure it really works. I've never had it get hot either.

My 900 don't cut in at shutdown like my 600 does, it comes on but rarely.
