compression problem???

i just tested both cylinders and they say 75 on both, what would be the problem or is it just a sh&%ty compression tester

I would say first try another tester to make sure yours is good. Then if it still reads that low, I would say it's time for a "refresh" on the motor. As long as they are both close, it should still run ok, but that low it just won't have the power it should.

You need 70 pounds for a cylinder to fire, I would get another tester forsure to be safe.
