I just don't see that coating being tough enough to withstand much more than a couple days of hard riding and it'd be time for a another coat....it only comes in a terrible looking white color so it'd be easy to do a test and see how long it lasts.
I'm guessing the vinyl wrap or pc is the only option that lasts more than a couple long rides.

It says it will last a year exposed and longer than a year not exposed
Also says it has good abrasion qualities , with a wire wheel or something to some kind of an industry standard .

it seems like a wire wheel will just add to the problem, the smoother anything is the harder it is for something to stick to it. a wire wheel will dig into aluminum fast. im thinking im going to try some car wax, I know its not a season long fix. if it keeps what I think is between 10 to 30 pounds out of the tunnel it will be worth the 1/2 hour to apply it
