Your max rpms should be between 7800-8100 on the tach. Adjust clickers up to increase, down to decrease. Approximately 200 rpm per setting differnce.

Last year I had to run my 03 Renagade 600 HO in #4 or #5, just to get 7900-8000 RPM's. I re-rung the engine last fall and it is in #3 now like it should be. A friend of mine who owned a Doo dearlership for years told me that ALL 03 AND 04 600 HO HAVE BAD RINGS FROM THE FACTORY and they ALL should have been RE-CALLED.

Yea i heard they had bad rings also i have a 04 and havent had problems yet but watch your compression. the rings had a ceramic coding and the coding was coming off, thats what i heard bout that
