hey all-
first question- stock clutch, seemed to be ingaging weird, almost like it wanted to slip, if i wasn't into the throttle, but maybe it was the hard, heavy packed snow?

second, my sled idles aT 3000 RPMS, causing fuel load in the cylinders and creates a backfire upon shutdown or startup. do i just adjust an idle screw and not worry about anything else? or should i pull the carbs and clean them? or just adjust the screw and go sleddin? also wheres the idle screws for the carbs?

thanks!

You might have bad weights inthe primary, thats causing the wierd feeling with shifting and the high rev/idle. as for the idle screw if it hasnt ever been touched then leave it alone its probably not that, could also be the throttle cable tied up , check carbs to make sure cable has a little play, you dont want everything super tight, on a sled anyway. Good luck,
ckoz
