I havent tried it but I heard busch polish was the best....today, I ran out of metal polish and ended up using wd 40, clr, some other heavy cleaner, and car polish.

A lot of people have a lot of different opinions on what is the best polish....
Take this little piece of advice and you will NOT be disappointed. Go onto ebay, where I purchased this product, and type in as key word "aluminum deoxidizer." The manufacturer is California Custom' and this stuff requires almost no elbow grease. The purple aluminum polish is only $13 US dollars or so. If your aluminum is corroded then you will need the green aluminum surface prep cleaner. All in all spend $30 and save hours of work.

I guarantee this stuff works and I have no idea why this stuff can do what it can do so easily.

I challenge anyone on this website to say this stuff doesn't work with ease!!!

Enjoy guys n gals.
Sled-Brite.com.... the stuff is called Aluma-Kleen Works awesome.
Spray on,hose off no scrubbing...I buy it in 5 gal cans.

Yup, Sled Brite Aluma-Kleen. Spray it on - hose it off. It's that simple.

Here's my 2005 Rev after a quick spray and wash.

It seems nearly impossible not to get that stuff on plastic etc...any impact from the overspray?
If your looking for cleaner Sled-bite alumaclean is good and so is Flitz Industrial Strength Aluminum Preclean. If your looking for polish Flitz is a great polish for all surfaces. I tried mothers on a problem area I had and it didn't hardly remove the tarnish. Flitz was wipe on and off ...WOW!! But doo like I did Google search - "Metal Polish" All kinds of info.

No problem getting it on plastic, the seat, your hands, your tunafish samitch - well maybe not that one, but it's pretty safe to use. A lot safer then carb cleaner or electra clean.

Appreciate the heads up Shaneo, I use Mothers billet polish now with excellent results but this looks like it would be great for getting in the engine compartment area or for routine cleaning.

At sledbrite.com There's the link Sled Brite clicky

I like it better then polishing, it gives it that showroom finish look.

IronDog,

Thanks for posting that pic. I have been looking at Sled Brite for about a year now and figured it was like every other spray-on cleaner out there. Useless!!!
Sled Brite looks like good stuff. Ordered a bottle this morning

You bet, I know what you mean, I was skeptical of their claims too, but after using it I was really pleased with the results. Now if they just made some of that spray on hair...........

They also make a spray on water proofing spray that works really good too. I use it on my Airwalk snow board boots. It keeps me from getting the dreaded wet left foot.
