Have 02 800 w/ rkthead 13:1 v-force reeds and decker low alt twins new chrome rings-150psi comp and mpem box with decker's curve run at about 1800ft, elev. have 430 mains- wash looks alright maybe a litlle rich. can't make it pull more than 8000rpm. had 25ish pinweight would pull about 7900 speedo-170km/h clean mark off sheave right to outside( stock gearing). pipes supposed to run 82-8400 rpm so I take out about pinweight but as i take it out it still won't pull much past 8000 and speed drops off bad-155 km/h. Using dynamo joes clutch kit anyone run anything similar can't figure it out- are the pipes that finnicky that without spot on jetting they won't pull past 8000??? Egt's seem [email protected] wot about 1100 [email protected] 100mm from piston face/skirt

try 20.5 grams of pin waight. 250-350 primery spring and 24 lbs on secondery.
i used 300,297, 280 ,286 ramps the 280 and 286 worked great. the 297 needed more waight so that might help but the 280 and 286 pulled the best . any more pm me

Yes Joe Iwas running either the stock single or a dynoport/crankshop single last season. I believe I have the white primary spring and run the green 2ndary. tried adding lots of weight-27g and strat at cliker1 woorking my way up I got the usuual 200-ish gains every time I clicked up until i got around that 7900 area in i think 4 then 5 and 6 show very little r gain and lost speed. Alo i don't know why the egt's are so low-1000-1100 wot wash seems alright- alittle rich- but i would think egts should be up 100 or so deg([email protected] fr piston face)

maybe 8000 but losing speed

As soon as you start to lose mph then you have too much flyweight.
what was acceleration like in clicker 3 and 4?
Was it sluggish?..poor?

I would not doubt if you found where your pipes like to run on your particular engine around 8000 rpms

The only thing I can think of right now is it would be nice to see what the engine/pipe will be like on the dyno, what power will those pipes make on the dyno.

I don't really ever trust what a pipe builder says when your engine may be different than their test engine.

Example: My engine makes power with stock pipe at 7850 rpms with 135 lbs compression. I put lower compression domes in it and it makes power at 8000 with 100 lbs compression. my engine really does have 100 lbs compression, i wanted those domes so i can run 87 octane and not burn down
My BRP pipes are rated for 8500 rpms. I put my BRP mod 800 pipes on the engine and they made power at 9000 rpms, heck they did not even start to turn on till 8500. Anyhoo...after my dyno run they made 134hp at 9000 rpms.
My stock pipe made 136hp at 8000 rpms - 2 hp less than stock.
My aaen single pipes makes 138hp at 8300 when i was told 8100.

I begin to wonder if those pipes are either running around 8000 rpms on your particular engine.

ANYONE KNOW STINGER/PIPE OUTLET DIAMETER OF THESE PIPES. Would like to know the low alt and high alt dimensions so i can measue mine to see what they are. They are supposed to be low alt= bigger stinger diameter but would like to doublecheck- maybe they sent me the wrong pipes- high alt and thats why it won't pull past 8000.

whose twins???decker or not what rpm? what gears? recurve mpem?

crank shop pipes 24 gear instead of 26. did not re curv it. i was having a hell of a time cluching it . right now with 144 chisels its fast 280 ramps 250-350 primery
