I was all set to get another Rev X 800 but the more good things I hear about the Z the more I want one. I ride a lot in N Ontario where for the most part the trails are smooth and fast and I live on a lake where I can do a lot of racing so the Z sounds like the perfect sled right? There are also time that I ride a lot in Michigan where the trails can be pretty beat and the Rev just becomes more fun to ride. I know the Z isn't a Rev but how well does it handle a moderately whooped out trail, is it as good as say a ZX chassis or is it more like a CK3?

I'm sure either way I'll be happy but the time has come to order and I can't make up my mind. Those of you who've had both what do you think?

Thanks

I went from an 03 rev 800x to the new Mach. In no way is the Mach as good as the rev in the rough stuff. I find the Mach acceptable in the bumps. Also once you have the right set up for your weight etc I found the Mach to be way better in the corners. The feeling you get when you punch the throttle makes up for any discomfort in the bumps!

Comparing the Z to the CK3-what comparision? The CK3 is a joke comparing the ride to the Z. I've rode 04 600 Revs and they are lighter and have a smoother ride but it's not so much better to give up on HP. If I was going to buy another one, it would be a Z with the X package-no question. Hope this helps. The piggy bank might also help you to decide

I'd rather have the price I got!!

Was your price OTD? $600 more for the X is reasonable, $1800 is not. I know I heard her right, maybe your getting shafted?

Anyone else get a price on the Mach X?

I have drive both of them in 2004 MXZX800Ho and this year 2005 mach z 1000SDI
The Mach z is heavy the MXZX is light . The mach is good lake run and the MXZX is good trail run
The difference is all in front
the mach motor is very good quite , fuel efficient , and a lot of tech on it.
For my king of snowmobiling here in Québec Canada trail my next snowmobile will be 2006 MXZX 800 HO power tech.

I switched from CK3 to new Maqch. I loved that CK, but didnt realize what a prehistoric machine it was till I rode about 10 feet on the new Mach. There IS NO comparison. Doo2
