was thinking about getting the bvs, but it is a hell of alot of money, is it that great? I think they look good, and seem light weight. I love the idea of no wires for the shield, and the drop down yellow shield. I just dont know if I really want to spend five hundred...
thanks

Second that.
where can you find better prices than the 479.99. Went to two dealers and same prices in any catalog that I have.. Any help? Thanks
I like mine.
A bit of work some days keeping the baffle of ice.
But it's nice to jump off your sled and not be wired to it.
And the perifreal? vision is another bonus.
its a deal at 479$, to ride 100% fog free all day...

but I see them on eBay for 360-399!

I got mine from my dealer last year for 350.00. Prices may be alittle higher this year, but should be close. Dealers have a big markup, but if they like you , they will work with you.

What dealer was that?
I would love to find a dealer at that price aswell!! Any info would be great, I could try to conntact them via email
great helmet...ive seen some really good prices during the spring!
Got mine late last year for $322, haven't used it yet
Love mine , I got it at the Novi show . There was a little price war between two sellers . $300.00 . You may find them a little cheaper .
My dealer has them on the shelf for 370.

I've got one, the modular hit my chin hard. It works well, the mask is a bit of a PITA at times. It ices up and won't move as it should. Getting a good seal with it is key for the anti-fog.

The orange shield will drop down if you come crashing down hard enough.

I love mine, but would give the modular a 2nd look if it fit.
thanks for all the replys, I'm heading to N.H. this weekend for the grass drags, and hope to find one there!
great helmet..$349 ballpark is all you should have to pay.

while you're at it, get a few extra moisture pads - some guys use bra inserts for lactating mothers, havent't tried it myself but they should work (lot cheaper than the OEMs).

if you scratch the lens..$80-$100 for a replacement.

Comfy, light, good visability, built in sun sheild, light in helmet for night time visability.

the mask takes a little getting used to and on cold days the ice builds up in it, but overall awesome purchase.

I love mine the only thing I can add that has not been metioned is when pounding big drifts.
snow dust gets in between the lenses

Over all best helmet set up for trail I have ever had

Great helmet but not perfect. The great features are light wieght rear tail light built in sun glasses the fact you don't have to take it off, just flip it up and the side to side vision is superior to any helmet I have seen. I also have a modular and will now probaly never wear it again
