But i'm not going to be driving through the border, it being shipped in the mail..... so i wont have to pay the GST and DUTY then right?? I hope not...that would be a lot on 300 bucks:)

If you get it shipped to your house in ontario I think you will have to pay both taxes on the value converted to canadian funds. There is no duty just tax also depends on the on the value of the items they allow up to a certain amout go without tax. I am not positive but if you call cuctoms canada they can lrt you know exactly. I also live in Ontario but in a border city so i have an American mailing address i have my stuff sent to. then pick it up and have to pay the tax at the border on the amount converted to Canadian funds. not that much money 30 to 40 bucks on 300$. More info then you needed but hope that helps. The Michigan tax is 6% but I don't think you have to pay it.

Only have to pay michigan tax if you have a Michigan address. Also, if someone ships you somthing UPS you will pay a brookerage fee. This is much less with Post.
Yup, we don't have to charge tax to international orders whatsoever, you may get hit with fees over there, unless you have a seller who ships usps with a low value

Give us a call tomorrow and we'll explain the risks and hassles of cross border shopping. We're dealers for over 400 international aftermarket manufacturers, ATV to TOP FUEL. Our www.sled-werx.com division of our parent company 2KOOL PERFORMANCE.com caters specifically to providing the lowest price in Canada on US based snowmobile products. Simply put you'll pay the base exchange on US products with absolutely 'no' hidden fee's or hassles whatsoever. We do not charge brokerage or handling fees as we're our own international broker bringing in US based product 3-4 times per week

Cheers
