Anybody know where a guy can get ahold of a set of these? My buddy has a 98 MXZ 670 and his studs (too long) tore the bulkhead up pretty good. I tried Royal Dist., HPE, Dennis Kirk, JR Graham, ShadeTree.

Try HRP Motorsports. www.hrpmotorsports.biz

Last I knew, he had boxes and boxes full of them. He's the one that made them for all of the above companies.

It's also not that hard to make them yourself. Some aluminum stock, or hyfax material, or tunnel protector material, a chop saw, and some rivets...

S chassis sleds are pretty roomy in that area. I would restud properly first. Usually it is the zx chassis that has clearance issues up front near the tunnel.

Now...look under the tunnel near the snow flap on that s chassis. See that rubber coolant hose? That is the achilles heal for the s chassis. Buy or fabricate a protector for that heat exchanger crossover hose. Good luck.
