i just changed all the oil lines to the oil pump but i now have some air on the top side of the oil filter that i cant get out i've tried everything to get it out but all has failed,any tips on getting the air out or will it work its way out without damaging the motor.

Loosen the bleeder screw on the oil pump until the bubbles are gone. If you replaced the lines make sure they flow downward without any arc in them which will trap air bubbles. Once you bleed the lines, run the sled and hold the oil pump wide open for a little while. This will get any remaining air out.

i already ran the sled on the stand but that traped air in the filter still remains. i bled the line from the bolt on the pump but the air wouldent move out the filter.

either unhook the line at the pump and see if it drains or at the filter. Also make sure you have the filter the right way. There is an arrow pointing towards the flow. If you have it the wrong way that may cause the bubble to not move.
