Hey All,
Had a chance to meet Blair Morgan and Steve Martin at the Big East Powersports Expo last night. They seemed pretty cool and were amped up to get the season going. Even more intersting, talk to a BRP guy from the factory as well. I asked him what big changes were in store for the 08's and he said no changes were coming. I'm not too sure I believe him, probably doesn't want to give anything away. After seeing the new Blizzard, I wished I had waited one more year! They are sharp looking rides. I was surprised that at a show this big that they didn't bring a Mach Z or an XR-S to stack up next to the new F1000. Those thing are butt ugly! Well, just a few thoughts from here. C'mon winter!

I was at the show too, and I agree with your comment on the F1000 for looks. Personally I think the 1000cc Cross-fire is a sharp looking sled. I think its going to be the sled thats going to win lots of races.... Maybe not the 2-mile long races that some guys like to run, but 1000/1500' or so...its going to be tough.
Also, get ready to see lots of F1000's, the factory has completely sold out of them! Dealers cannot get anymore.
Also had in my hand the Y-pipe thats giving that 1000 quite a few extra ponies. Definately cheap horsepower $179.00. Just wish it was all that easy!

I don't think anybody has one of the production XRS's or Mach's yet. There was some delay with the motors out of Austria from what I've heard. All they have are the mock-ups from the spring. That might explain why they weren't there.

That factory guy has probably been asked that same question about 1,000,000,000 times already and was probably to tired to tell the truth. If he would have said anything that would have brought a barrage of questions from everyone he told. Either that or he's the guy that sweeps the factory floor at night.

Nowhere near the show that Novi Michigan is. But if this is close to you, it would make a good stop for early season shopping. Maybe Sunday will be a good day for last minute deals.

The guys there selling the Doo stuff offered the worst deals, basically 15 % on all 2007 product. You could go to any dealer and he will offer you the same deal.

Old stock items were not bad on ski doo clothing if you dont mind being a year or two dated. The other manufactures I can not speak for. Not a very big show compared to Novi.

Atv people would be very disappointed as there was very little for them. Thats Ok because they should not be at the same show as us anyway.

I bought about 50% of the stuff that I went for because I either could not find it or there was no deal.

Of all the items I purchased, the semi syn Bombarier oil at $75.00 for 3 and a new Triton tire with rim for $50.00 were great deals.

Anyone interested in more info on other items , post and I will try to answer.

Blair Morgan waas on hand signing autographs for the kids.

wow not to have your newest sleds at the show??

sounds like something is wrong with the new releases...

NEVER saw that before... I hope they get it right b4 they ship though...

sounds like doo is floundering a bit as of late... its tough at the top... very tough...
