Bent/broken Tune Pipe assy spring clip

I got the silly idea to do some maintenance on my sled and bent a part on the exhaust. It is the clip that the spring hooks onto between the muffler and where it hooks onto the exhuast in the front of the sled (see picture). From looking at a parts list, it looks like the "Tune pipe assembly". I have a 2017 Summit 850.

Any suggestions on how to fix? Can it be welded back on? can one clamp on something to hook the spring to?

I bought the sled used from a dealer, and do have a 1 year warranty but getting it there might be more trouble than figuring it out myself.

Any suggestions appreciated.....

Since you broke it I doubt the dealer will want to pay for it.

However, it's no problem to fix, just bent it back and if necessary just weld a little bead to strengthen it. Take the pipe off and bring it to someone who knows what he is doing and he will have that straightened and welded in minutes.

Take it to a muffler shop. They weld on that stuff every day...
