what are you doing with them?
repainting that silver colour, or going yellow or black?

I am thinking about going just black. Nice clean look, i am afraid if i flame it, stripe it, or do anything else it will be a little to much.

Ill send you mine, mine are rusty as hell, I want to go blue but i get to wait til next fall to sandblast and powder coat um, the paint you've done thus far looks very nice
I will just paint them, prime them, then a couple coats of color and couple coats of clear. Aslong as i dont miss any spots and lay the paint down heavy it should last a while.

Looks great!

I painted my trailing arms black last year and it held up well. Blast, prime, 3 coats of color and a few coats of clear. The only chips were from me dropping the sliding half of my primary clutch on the right side while I was removing it!

What was your process on the tunnel? I think it could shine up a bit better but its hard to tell from the pics.

Are you painting them or powdercoating them?
I've said it before, and not afraid to say it again

In my opinion good paint (not a aerosol) is better than powder. Once a chip gets in powder, hello rust. Paint will keep the rust from creeping much better.

I use an industrial grade epoxy on them. It will beat powder hands down.

Nice clean sled by the way.

If you have some extra time, I could use about 4 sleds detailed out

I just used Never Dull. I didnt do all the way in the back where the plastic bumpers cover up the sides.

Dude your sled turned out sweet, look's like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Good job!
