oooh that looks good!!! I will try that sometime!!! Are there different brands of liquid smoke...?
We make alot of jerkey. My seasoning usually consists of Teriaki, honey, hot pepper flakes, garlic, liquid smoke and salt (of course). I can't tell you how much of each but this post makes me want to make some more!

Yeah thats 12 pounds of bottom round roast ....I forgot the teryaki.
I use molasses too. When you get the marinade mixed up good..take a raw egg and see if it floats in it....if it does you got enough salt.
brisket makes the best jerky(IMO) but its pricey. And dont be afraid of the liquid smoke i use 2 small bottles to about 3 or 4 qts of marinade.
I throw in whatever is in the cabinet but there are some must haves. Worchessehsire sauce or however its spelled, soya sauce, franks red hot, liquid smoke, honey and a few other things. I honestly throw in a lot of random stuff and it always comes out good.

I can't believe how hard it is to find a dehydrater!!! Went to Zellers, Canadian tire, checked out the mall, DIDN"T go to Wal-Mart but they apparently have them for $50. I did buy some Tereyaki sauce, seasoning, and hickory liquid smoke... hopefully I can mix this stuff with a few other things in the cabinet and come up with something good!! ONCE I GET THE DEHYDRATER!!!!
