It's not Doo, Poo, or AC's fault as OEM's are waiting on parts to build components. I currently have orders for HW that the OEM is telling me is currently (subject to change) 283 business days out.
This is why I FULLY support an entirely online order and purchase process. I hope these programs come into place and cool off these dealers, Ford is considering it. I already know exactly what I want and have the capability to purchase things online with ease. To me, there is no advantage to going to a dealership.^^^^ I had a new F150 ordered last year and after 10 months it came in. Once at the dealer they decided my agreed price was 5k too low. That pulled my deal and I said keep the truck. The next day it was on the lot for 10k more. It lasted 1 day and was sold. Needless to say, that dealership will not got anymore of my money. This could be the new normal.
My dealer was allotted 200 less sleds than they sold for MY '22.Right, but wasn't Doo limiting number of spring sleds to each dealer to help resolve this? I spring ordered and will keep my 2020 BC but I'm pretty bummed the new sled will be late.

Looks like cutting that much isn't gonna doo it. If Doo is saying January now for some sleds, it will probably be more like March/April in a few months. My dealer was allotted 200 less sleds than they sold for MY '22.
I am in Central / Western New York, and the Ford, GM, and Ram/Jeep new vehicle dealer lots are just about empty.I was at my Chevy dealership today. The lot is almost empty. They had a few pick up trucks. But said all the deliveries of SUV's have been pre-sold for a while. My son ordered a Ford Pick Up Truck 5 months ago. Still no word. When he ordered the options, it was with the advice of the sales person regarding which options are the most delayed. Still crazy. Not just in the land of snow.
Yet.......I personally am not going to get all hot and bothered over this topic. It’s just June, I don’t care to see mine really before December and if it turns into a thing where it’s going to be months after that, I still have my current sled. Not a big deal. This whole thing where we are hoping delivery will be on time for the foreseeable future just isn’t in the cards yet people.
My parents had a new vehicle ordered earlier this year, about 2 months after they ordered it the dealer called and said it would not be happening anymore due to color supply issue and other things. A month goes by from that point and the dealership called them and said to get in line and they could order a ‘23 model. New color picked now but for now, it’s ordered and a wait and see situation.
It’s a messed up world we live in, but it’s not so messed up that we are starving, worried about being bombed etc.

There was a delay B4 dealers could even enter the orders / create certificates. I was at my dealer the day after the reveal and was the first to place an order. But then all the orders got entered a few weeks later and I was probably at the bottom of the stack, my order just got in B4 they cut off the smart shox & flat screen options. I highly doubt it matters when you placed your order. BRP will make them in the order they see fit in groups of like sleds, luck of the draw I guess. Oh, and per the delivery schedule they put out in the spring it looked like they were going to make floor models before people's spring orders so there's an extra kick in the junk. I'm selling my 850 in the fall and I'm just gonna plan on riding my 600 ACE this next winter. When the new sled shows up I might just ride it bone stock and worry about traction products / accessories over the summer of 23 so it will be ready for the winter of 24.
i wouldn't count on that. tons of people last year had confirmed dates only to have them continuously pushed back. i think the supply situation is even worse this year as well as conditions in general.
most dealers that have loyal customers relation ship with that dont bring 10 prices from other dealers trying to get better deal will look after you first
