Looks like Ski Doo already blew their delivery estimates. From Ski Doo's website:

Last Updated: June 17, 2022

While it’s warm outside for now, we know the first snowflakes will begin falling soon enough!

We're putting our efforts into delivering snowmobiles and accessories as soon as possible. However, we're continuing to experience delays due to some component shortages and other supply chain constraints.

With that in mind, we anticipate some deliveries initially planned for November or December will now fall into January. You can reach out to your BRP dealer for updates regarding your order since they will have the latest available information. Our customer care team is also here for you if you have any other questions at 1-888-272-9222.

So glad I pulled the trigger on my 22. I was even fortunate enough to be able sit around for 2 months admiring it while drinking adult beverages and installing accessories before the snow flew.

Sadly I'm not surprised at all :(
Getting some materials at work is unreal.
I Know exactly what you mean Tony. And the gouging has gone through the roof.

X2
supply chain is no better than a year ago and probably worse in some areas unfortunately
Supply has definitely gotten worst, trying to source materials of the same nature is almost impossible.
Your very lucky if they even get back to you.

All I can say is Don't sell your sled until you new one has arrived!!

They had zero reason to tell people everything was going to be on time. They were behind on the ‘22s, they were behind on the ATVs, a d behind on the jet skis. There was no light at the end of the tunnel, yet they lied to everyone that there wasn’t supplier issues and everything was going to be fine, all in the name of getting their spring orders in. It’s a joke really. Think about one other manufacturer, vendor, etc that’s said there wasn’t going to be issues and everything is on time? 😂 not one! It was a totally scam!

Ski Doo raised prices, said they cut spring orders presumably to get sleds built on time, took the deposits and orders, and now in mid-June are saying “some deliveries” will not be made until January.

Ski Doo should tell customers what sleds they expect are included in the “some deliveries” category. They clearly know since they made this announcement. That would be the fair and courteous thing to doo for customers.

Ski Doo probably will not be more specific though since they doo not want customers to cancel their orders.

I ordered a basic X 850 renegade with the hopes that with no extra options that it puts mine in a sooner than later delivery option. I’ve never had a etec motor because of having 4 strokes since 2010, so I’m intrigued to say the least how this turns out. I hope I don’t get let down and lose my patience and just say heck with it and run my 900t (not a bad compromise by any means) but I really want to give this 850 a shot, plus it’s yellow and I really want a yellow machine once.

Seadoos are 2 months behind and missing parts, ATV and SXS are 6 months behind and are not being price protected at all. If they are saying Jan for some models today that means that it will be a repeat of next year with a lot of sleds showing up mid season.

Its not just BRP. My 22 F150 was built Jan 17 and is still sitting in a yard waiting for parts.

My Dealer looked today. My 600 etec mxz blizzard is showing September-October. I'm sure things can change, but at least it doesn't say January.

My hope is that Gen4s have a better shot of delivery before snow. 🤷‍♂️
