What's your opinion on tracks on atv's? Does it rob alot of top end? Is the handling still reasonable? Just looking for a overall opinion for winter use.

Newm316 had a thread about this awhile back with about 5 pages of replies. Do a search for it. As far as I'm concerned they are a waste of money.

I talked to a guy last week that was on one on the trail and he said that he could hardly even get out of his own way. He was on a new sportsman 700. He did go thru 3' of powder tho.

Didnt get to ride this 1 but have rode 1 at my dealer. They use this in the western UP to groom there feeder trail. The 1 i rode was on blacktop and was not hard to trun at normal speeds. At low speeds it was a bear.

guys - take a look at brp's website and the new apache track kit...
apparently steering effort is what makes the brp version far superior to the others... (as per the media reviews).

also is the only one that does not void your warranty.

they seem to fit all brands of atvs as well...

fyi

here's the link: (it's on the front page of the atv section)
