had posted a while back about a person building or built a ATV track in a residential neighborhood, and the up hill battle with our town to enforce by laws and regs!!

well last night we were told that a letter went out to tell the land owner that atv activity on his land was a violation of the zoning laws! and that no motorized RECREATIONAL activity is allowed in a residential zone!

mind you this was not a person using a atv to feed the pigs! it was a full blown race track! 6 to 10 bikes going around and around for hours at times stopping at 8 pm!
b/4 yyou all start the homes were all there first he bought the land 3 tears ago with his sole intent to build a atv race track........

Can anyone figure out what is being said here??????????

p.s.Too much Folgers this morning????
um ... he bought land in an existing residential neighbourhood with the intent of building a race track for atvs. Now he is not permitted. is that the jist of it?
in the midst of a full court press with our town!!! we have well over 100 + people against a ATV race track in a r-45 = residential neighborhood! the laws as we and council see it so NO!!! noise complaints say NO!! no permits have been pulled and the track is built! built in wet lands, and in the buffer zone! but the town is turning there heard for some strange reason! we will stop it with a law called PUBLIC NUISANCE soon!
anyone else have to deal with small town gov? what B/S it is!!!

mind you the land owner lives 7 towns away so he thinks its ok to come to our what was everyday quiet neighborhood send 6 to 7 bikes around a track every day for 7 hrs then go home to there quite homes!! this was a old junk yard with a record of PCBs found!! but we can kick up dust 7 hrs a day?????

the land owner is a SNAKE
1. built the track with no permits
2 MANY wetland violations
3 buried god knows how many tires!
4 tires in the wet lands
5 drive way no permit
ect.................
This is probably not a great site to be on that side of the fence. Many people including myself are all for ATVs. I know around where I live the DNR keeps minimizing the areas that ATVs and off road bikes can be ridden. It is getting to the point where you can hardly ride them any where. I had to sell my dirt bike and quad because I was so fed up with all my favorite spots getting shut down. I understand your frustration - you have a residential neighborhood and you have some people whipping around a track with bikes. But, I can see their side of it too. How about a compromise instead of a complete ban all together. How about a rule that they can only ride from 10 am - 6 pm or something close to that. Any way, it is getting to the point where if off road vehicle enthusiasts don't start speaking up and trying to defend our sports we are going to lose all of our riding privelages all together!!!

Maybe some people who have nice quiet homes out in the country think your 2007 Mach Z is annoying and a nuisance.........................
i guess if you saw the location of the track you would understand! this was going to impact the value of my home and many others! we have over 150 people that were affected by the noise!
he wanted to run this 6 days a week! 10 am to 6 pm no thank you!!!! you know how loud 6 to 7 bikes are! these were race bikes!
but it has to do with the LOCATION of the track !

why should one NEW land owner have the right to come into a quite neighborhood run atvs for 7 hrs in a circle ruin my quality of life and 150 others everyday then go home to his nice quit home? he dosnt live there and dosnt give a poop about the people whom do! if i was to sell my home i would have to tell the buyer there is a noise issue with a atv track! how much is that worth to my home???????

its all about the LOCATION this spot was not a spot for a track...............

i ride my sled in places that im welcome!! places that welcome snowmobiles!! places that gain from snowmobiles!!! places that depend on snowmobiles to survive!!! places the profit from snowmobiles!!!
ect.............

its all about the LOCATION!

so, why are you posting this? Just wanted everyone on the internet to know that your property values just tanked?
I sort of understand your problem but i don't think that its wrong to build a track on your own property , people need somwhere to ride . I have many loud sleds and bikes that pass by my house during the day and at night and i dont complain unless they realy push it with super loud pipes that wake you up or are stupid loud .I'm sure a lot of people think the same thing about you on your sled , but they live with it

If eveyone complained about this kind of issue there would be no more atving or snowmobiling .... If you respect people/they respect you and everyone is happy
just my opinion
