Thought I would post this in the REV section since it applies to 440's and to sleds that didn't get the DPM. The Holtzman Atacc system is similar to DPM in that it leans out the carbs for higher altitudes and warmer temps than your current jetting is set at. It does not make the system richer, so start fatter on your jetting when installing the system.

The system can be mounted in your side panel airbox (if you have carbs vented there already). Even if you don't you can vent to the side panel airbox (04 and 05 440's).

Remove the side panel airbox and carefully pry it apart with a small flat screwdriver to undo the snaps that hold it together.
Follow the directions with your system, but here are some pics to help you out.
It is important to drill the holes close to where I have shown so that the door will close and the hoses won't get caught or melted on the motor.

Here is the 440 carb with fitting installed. 600/800 sleds get the fitting drilled and pressed in the top cover. The fitting is only installed on one carb.

I still am going to put a protector cover over the clear hose to keep it from getting damaged. Make sure when you close the door that everything is OK.

Very nice Chuck, I was looking into picking this up for my sled, as a trip to the Mtns of Wyoming are in the plans this winter.

REV*BARON, I'm in Arizona at high alt. and was discouraged with the alternitives. this system looks easy to install and if you like it I want it. Were do I order one? Also how does it work connected only to one carb?. I have a 03 800 non dpm that I bought from Jeremy (rev03800) in illinois.Am currently jetting down about 9-10 sizes but no snow yet. Thanks

It works because both carbs are vented to each other so the vacuum is carried from one to the other. I've taken my 440 out west with it and just rejetted for the lowest elevation I ride at. Then it is good all the way up to the top. I couldn't believe the 440 made it up a few hills that we climbed last year in the mountains.

I recommend this product for the mountains or the Tempaflow product for those who don't need the elevation change.

The first time you read the directions you will go "huh"? But now that you can see the pics it will be a breeze for you.

can u drill the carbs like that for the tempa-flow instead of measuring? It looks like it was a casting that you drilled
