On a ported 800HO, the SLP pipe and silencer picked up about 10 mph over the stock pipe. In 750-800 feet, the SLP would run right at 100mph. Switched to the stock pipe and silencer and it ran between 85 and 90 mph in the same distance. Switched back to the SLP pipe and silencer and was right back up to 100mph. All the testing was done within an hours time, so the conditions remained the same.
Talk to SLP about the pipe and your port work, they are porting motors different than others which make their pipe work with their porting. My ported 800 ran best with the stock pipe, stock can and v-force reeds.
