Anybody get their ring gears yet?

mid/late oct.

my dealer has mine called last week taking it in next weekend.

My dealer said any day now.
He was told the parts are at quality control and will be shipping soon.

Lets hope that quality control is much better than it has been for the past 3 years. There have been a number of sleds that have had ring gears explode on them causing damage to the sled and injuring a few people.

I never did find out the full story....what happened to you when your gear went?

My ring gear let go at WOT and ended up bouncing off my secondary clutch leaving imprints of the gear in it and warping it, proceeded to go through the protective area your foot is in like it was not there and smashing off the top of my foot severely breaking the bone in my foot. I was hospitalized with immediate surgery. It is an experience I wish on no one and the fact I am not the only one this has happened to is fact enough for everyone including BRP to take this seriously and put an end to the year after year after year recalls on the ring gears.
