I step-sons sled broke the entire thing off. Got lucky that it shutdown immediately and the fuel didn't ignite.
Fabricated a brass nipple to replace it. Much more solid. We thought about doing the other one, but decided to try it out for a couple seasons first.
We figured the first one broke because the fuel hose connected it is pretty short and stiff and any vibration or jarring would just break them off. The other side has a longer hose and being longer it has more flex to it.
