95 mph on a 03 440 w/ DJ's clutch kit during ice drags.

This is on radar. Non of this inaccurate speedo crap.
i have been told that a zx can be setup to do 110mph but only lasts a couple hours till the motor blows.
with a small track...few studs...lowered profile you can get these things up in around 100...with the larger track...carbides, stock shock length...you can expect to pull just under 90 if its totally dialed in.

On race fuel or pumped gas?
Its all about how it's geared, But like Coolflyer said if it's totally dialed in you should pull high 80s to 90 mph.

pump fuel, but I would'nt think it would be much faster with race fuel. I would have to change my gearing to get it any faster top end

Yeah you can put in a bigger top gear and get a better top end speed.

Yeah but thats not what I want. I could care less how fast it is top end. Its not to often I am flying down the trail a 85 MPH I would rather have corner to corner speed and that how I have it clutched and geared. If I wanted a lake sled I would'nt have bought a 440.

I got 98 out of the '06 440's. Thats dialed in and perfect conditions mind you. Coolflyers got it!
77 mph on GPS, twice.

20:45 gears, 136x15x2" paddle track, DJ clutch kit.

Sounds right - I've seen 100 MPH on a GPS w/ that kind of set up @ 1000' +. But never on any of the Team driven clutches...

My 04 did 89 - 90 MPH on my x-country set up (1.75 track, low gearing, clutched and jetted for that set up).

All team driven 440's w/ stock setup are 72 to 75 mph (radar) out of the box. SLOW IMHO!!!

i would say 85 - 90 tops.... not on race gas, with stock gearing and clutching
I saw 85 mph on speedo with 20/43 & stock track & LC setup, owner before me says he saw 90 (speedo) on HC setup. We'll see this year with dj's kit in there and 21/45.

do you have any pics of your 07?
i got 90 out of a stock 04 440.......lc setup!
