You can. But I'd highly suggest a second switch on a different circuit. If for some reason you kill the headlight circuit you'd still have lighting to ride home. Also having the option to run low beams with the light bar on is awesome when caught in a snow storm. You can't. You'll need to use a relay.

 

OK , but the best setup is to the use the high beam signal from the switch / stock headlight to trigger the relay, with the power to drive the light bar coming from the battery. That way, no additional switch is needed.

 

Agree with all, except the junk connectors. These are deadly and they're the ones used on most LED lights. Worth spending a couple bucks more.
