adding oil

planning on buying a 02 440 and it doesnt have oil iinjection how do you guys add your oil and i know it has to be in the gas tank im only going to be trail riding it. just wonding if theres any tricks or ideas thanks

You have to mix your oil with your gas. I mix mine 33:1. That means for every 33 liters of gas there is 1 liter of oil. Or if your going to buy Xp-s from bombardier in the 500 mml bottle use one of those for every 16.5 L of gas.

Amsoil sell's little bottles you can easily take with you on the sled, and if your tank is clear it makes it even easier, I think that's what you meant!

ya i just wanted to know how u guys were mixing the oil at the pumps thanks for the tip

Some people put the oil in first some put it in last . Just give your sled alittle shape to make sure it is mixed. The first bump you hit it will be mixed. The jets will also mix it on the way in. Just make sure you put in the right amount of oil.

On my 01 it had a clear tank so I went to the gas station and put a mark every gallon. When i went to fill up I'd know about how much gas was going to go in so I could put the right amount of oil in before filling. I liked putting oil in first to make sure it got mixed decent.
