I bought the 2020 X-Team jacket but I am thinking of exchanging for the absolute jacket. Any thoughts? I am pairing this with the Oxygen Helmet. I am worried that the X-Team jacket is not warm enough.

I had X team pants and my thighs would get cold. I switched to absolute pants and my legs are roasty toasty. Worth every penny. Currently I use X team jacket. My arms get a touch cold but because I use a Tekvest, I am warm overall. My next jacket will be the absolute for sure.
I went to a bike store and got arm warmers for riding a pedal bike when its cold out for this problem. I have a light pair and a heavier pair that I use with my TekVest, All depends on the temp as to witch one I use. I'm nice and warm on my arms now

I bought the absolute trail jacket this summer. Obviously haven't ridden with it yet but the reviews I read all loved it. It is very warm and well made. I have been considering getting the pants to go with it. But we shall see.

Have the complete absolute zero suit and gloves with oxygen helmet. Amazing combo, so warm and comfortable. Best suit I've had so far.

-27 Quebec I'm taking off layers, toasty warm and other guys are frozen to the core constantly complaining. One guy had to buy hand muffs as his hands were frozen just to finish the trip.

Buy the suit and enjoy. In Warmer temps a light layer is all you need with the vents open and the helmet shield cracked for fresh air.

It's a Great feeling never being cold.

I have an Absolute 0 jacket. With the liner, it's the warmest jacket I've ever worn. Without the liner it's pretty warm too. I only wear it on my long Quebec trips or single digits temps. If you are an active rider, I feel there is not enough venting. Definitely lives up to its name.
BRP sent me one for the Dootalk Gear testing program. I liked it so much I bought another because the size I picked ran large. I think the newer models run more true to size. Super Warm, completely waterproof and windproof. That system works.

My daily jacket though is FXR Mission X.

What are people's thoughts on the absolute zero or absolute trail pants? One review I read from years ago mentioned the buckle for the suspenders want attached well, but I figured/hoped that had been fixed by now.

I've had an X team jacket since 2011 and wear it on occasion still. I wear underarmour and a fleece under it and have never been cold down to -35. Below -5 I wear a BV2S helmet. This is with a mid windshield. X Team pants with underarmour and a mid layer also, I have never been cold. After the first 1/4 mile we pull over and adjust balaclavas and zip up the jacket zipper tighter if needed but that's it. Once it's 10 above we start losing layers and unzipping vents. The rest of my gear is lighter (less warm) like a Fly Jacket, light Klim gloves, etc and that has easily kept me warm anything above -25.

I have the absolute trail suit , it is very warm which is why I am selling it and going to x team suit . I wear a tek vest under jacket because people like to try and run me over , this gets very warm for my heavy aĂ—$

I bought a full 2019 x-team set. I was worried about it being warm enough as well because my previous gear was Klim Keewenaw. I couldn't be happier! Less bulky and easier motion than the Klim and was definitely warm enough. I do have to caveat that I also added a Demon safety vest that definitely added to the warmth. I was a Klim snob and tried as hard as I could to like the new gear. But I couldn't resist the easier motion and half price of the x-team gear. Obviously, I'd highly recommend it.
