I have a 1999 670X (HO) DPM removed...looking for ballpark main jet #s , I recall seeing a race manual that had recommendations for various elev and temps. Been awhile since I worked on a 670...any help appreciated.

Elev. 6000 ft

15-40 degrees air temps

Someone gave me this. May get u pointed in the right direction

If I recall correctly, the MXZ and Grand Touring use different size jets Both do not have HAC. I figure the GT was safer and went with those specs.

example using your 97 Summit 670.

It has:
Pilot Jet: 75
Main Jet: 370/380

The Grand Touring 670 used:
Pilot Jet: 50
Main Jet: 360/360

MXZ has:
Pilot Jet: 60
Main Jet: 270/300 (for the previous year, it was 290/300)

I didn't like the idea of going down almost 100 in size on the main jet, so I went with the GT specs.

Leave your stock jets remove the necessary parts in ur carbs and run it . Check plugs and move from there
