dbenny & Raven, you guys have the same sled. Mine runs hot at low speeds. Like when my kids were just run around the yard. Otherwise no problem. I changed out the coolant, purged air, stats OK. Is it just the nature of the beast?

not sure. I dont run mine slow. check the thermostat, is it openinig? maybe replace thermostat. a buddy of mine told me that can happen at low speeds if hte ambient temp is kinda warm and your hood vents are closed. he also has a 98 FZ. try running it with the heed vents open & see if that helps. im new to sleds, but i know on cars if the radiator cap goes bad or the water pump. im not sure if these have water pumps, but it is a pressurized system and if the cap is not holding the proper pressure that could cause a problem also.
