I just bought a 98 formula z and a 99 formula 500 sl. They both run great and have good compression, but it seems like the Formula Z smokes quite a bit more then the 500 SL. Is this normal or do I have something in the oil injection on the Z out of adjustment? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Gil

Check injection syncronization (cable) might be out of whack a bit, Also check to see if choke might be sticking on a tad??

The smoke has a bluish tint like too heavy a premix. I don't think my "rings are shot" as the compression is 135 in both cylinders. Gil

Oil is rich... If u know what to adjust it to go ahead and lean it out if not the dealer shouldn't charge much to do it, there is supposed to be a measurement(at least with the zx's and up) that it should be set @.
