Acquired a perfectly mint 97 F III with only 2500 orig. miles. Sled has the crankcase update as well. It will be driven almost equal time with my renegade, as my wife, and I will all be switching off. I remember they were very fast sleds, but my 600 HO renegade kicks it's "edit for bad language". This can't be right. Any clutching help and/or tuning tips to return this sled to it's former lake racer self? Can I safely drop my needles and mains without burning it up? Sled seems to be burning alot of oil. The alignment marks on the pump are within specs, but no-one wants to ride behind me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Will be -40 to -50C with the windchill here today. Stay warm!
