I picked up a sled for the wife to try since she never rode one before. This thing is either really cold blooded, or there's some other issues. It seems to run fine once started. I tore down the carbs and completely cleaned them and checked float height. After getting it all back together and getting it running after the bowls were full, I let it sit overnight to try it completely cold. 3 pumps of primer... 1st pull, it starts.... Sweeeeet..... Ran for maybe 5 secs or so, then dies. Then back to the 30 pulls to finally get it running and idling. Fuel screws set at 1 1/4, gap .018. Carbs and oil pump all adjusted per the service manual. Any ideas?

3 primes

pull until it starts

Keep running with the primer for at least 30 seconds (colder it is, longer it takes).

If it dies. Give it 1 prime and pull until it fires.

If it does not fire in 3 pulls, give it another prime.

If it does not fire in 3 more pulls, hold throttle at 1/4 to 1/3 and pull.
