Finally got it off the sled lift. Been picking away at it for a couple years lol. Contemplating letting it go to make way for an "X" restoration project.

Very nice sled! The way I see it, you have to do what makes YOU happy. In all honesty, even though I own some X sleds, a standard model is every bit as nice. Sure, we know the Xs are more rare, desirable, and slightly more performance oriented, but the standards are very nice, and any that is super clean are going to be appreciated.

Just saying, if you are happy with your Plus, keep it and enjoy it. If anybody at a ride or show tells you "too bad its not an X", just find a clever way to set them straight. Car shows, sled shows are full of critics, its pretty easy to be one. If your heart is set on an X, go for it. I would be pretty proud of the one you have, and happy to take it to a ride or show, X or not. Very nice job!

Nice restoration. Still one of may favourite colours from the ski doo palette.

Unless you really need to have an X model, and I totally understand that, keep what you have and ride with pride. You obviously put allot of time and effort to get it looking as good as it does. And nice to see you installed the suspension rubber boots in the "CORRECT" inward direction.

Very nice...! Judging by the picture, that one is for sure a keeper. If you sell it, I think you will regret it in couple years.
