800 Rev Single Pipe

Anyone had experience with the CPI single pipe and class pack set up? I know where I can get for reasonable price (I think) for my new to me 04 800 REV HighMark X 151.

The pipe that gains you 9 HP will also save you 9 pounds in weight, This pipe is best in the higher altitudes, that is where I ride 6000 to 11,000 ft. elevation.

I am thinking about putting Wisco Pistons in also any comments on either of these mods would be appreciated and any other mod suggestions

Aftermarket pipes on the 800 HO's dont do anything unless your motor is ported.

I tried the CPI pipe and can on my ported 04 800. Worked ok at very high elevations, anywhere lower it lost rpm's on a long climb. Stock pipe and can cured the problems. Stock ran better too. So from my experience unless your at very high elevations stick with the stock pipe.

I read an article on the 800's think it was referring to the 2004's. That the stock pipe was perfectly tuned to the motor and was squeezing every hp out it could. So at the time nothing aftermarket was any better. Beers to Ski-doo for getting it right.

So then what about the can? I have heard mixed some add hp some nothing some even rob a few ponies. I would like an aftermarket can for the weight savings first off 7-9lbs if it added hp that's great.

10-4 on that one! porting them when done "properly" really wakes them up!

Who would you recommend for a good port job in southeastern Idaho or anywhere 1) good price 2) reliable?

I know 1 guy that is well known for his porting and engine work, has run multiple dyno tests with the HPS can and has just completed dyno tests on the new on the new BMP pipe. And I think he has HPS can and BMP pipe in stock.
Sledhead Racing
BMP dyno test results
HPS can test results

BTW where are you in Idaho?
I have had a "thing" on my 04 800HO 151" X and needless to say this time I am going to try the HPS because of the results on my 04
my sled makes 144.4 hp at 8300 with a stock pipe and a thing can and some airbox mods. aftermarket pipes on an otherwise stock engin does verry little

If you live in south eastern idaho look up rk tek in preston and talk with kelsey.
Our pipe has now been tested by independent experts, and they all agree our pipe makes great power. We also ofer porting services that should gain another 7-9 HP on the Rev 800. Check out the other threads about our pipe, the thing works great. It makes alot more power than the stock pipe and works on all motors ported or not. We are now taking orders.
Thanks, Tim

Just ordered some stuff from my dealer for my sled; gearin' up for an awesome winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have the Performance can on mine and it works well, my bud has a Thing can on his 04 and it has an awesome tone and his sled runs awesome. (I'd get a thing also if I didn't already have the Performance; I call his sled the Snow Harley! Deep loud tone, not high pitched and whinny/tinny!)
