I have an 06 summit 800. When I am riding over 6000 rpm and let off the throttle, the engine seems to hang at about 5000 rpm, then drops down to normal idle. It hangs at 5000 for about a second and a half to two seconds. Is this normal? Or do I need to adjust. I normally ride about 10000 ft. I took it to the dealer, and they just put in smaller jets. Is there more to it?

If it only happens at 5K, let it be. No big deal to wait a few to let the idle come down. Your problem is not in the mains - so what did your dealer put in there?!?

Your problem is with the white fuel/air screws located on the right lower forward side of each carb. They should be set to 1 1/2 turns from the factory. If ya got nothing to do, you could see where your's are set. PM me with what ya find.
