Have a very nice Super 370 Opposed twin. Engine runs great but I have very little speed. Maybe 30 mph. Could someone help me with the torque converter setting and also the carb? How fast were the sleds back then? 50 mph? Thanks in advance. Auggie

Just from memory, I think the driven clutch preload was either 11lbs or 13 lbs of tension. Make sure your drive clutch is properly lubed, and the flyweights are moving freely. Next, make sure your drive belt is full width, and the clutch to clutch distance is set right, actual distance I don't know, but deflection should be about 1" with 13 lbs of pressure. And I think you're right with the 50 mph speed.

Good luck
