So the season is about to end here in michigan and I'm throwing ideas around with my buddies about rebuilding my 99forma z 670. I am going to be powder coating some things but my question is about my motor. I was woundering what kind of power I would get if I upgraded to 44mm carbs, twin pipes, port+Polish jugs, tunnel port cases, and of course tune the clutch. I understand the cost that goes into this project. But I would appreciate everybody's input. Thanks for you time. Also if any body knows of which twin pipes would fit that woul be appreciated.

my 670 ho runs single exhaust with 44mm carbs and it factory ported. so you wont have any issues running a single pipe .and i agree with you %100 on the new sled thing they sucks in every way possible . if i had a new free sled i would pull the motor and rear suspension and throw the rest away .

cylinders are ported along with intake ports has flat top pistons and high compression head from factory

If I was to build a 670 I would run HO crank case cyl pistons and head with reg 670 crank stator flywheel trigger Cdi . If you don't want the dess . Personally I like it because unless you tow my sled it won't start.

I got a 200/290 primary with 280 ramps solid pins clickers on #4 secondary got beigh spring on b5 22 -23lbs preload . So far so good I'm still working on clutching the thing thought
