Hey guy, I've got a 2009 tundra with 3000km with stalling issues, it stalls randomly, sometime I can go for like 20 minutes no issues and then sometimes every minute it will happen, it's stops like if I would hit the kill switch.
Doesn't bog out or anything, carbs are spotless, carb boots were changed, I'm thinking electrical because it's just random.
Ignition module or stator is my guess and those parts aren't cheap, kinda don't want to change it on a maybe.
Someone must of clearly had this problem before.

The 550 are kinda notorious for bad modules....this is what it sounds like......can you restart the engine right away or you need to wait a bit, also does it cut out while driving or when you let back on the throttle to idle?

Restarts right away no problem what's so ever,
Cuts out when on the throttle, haven't notice if it happens if when I let off.

It does sound like a bad module, i've had to replace a few.
Two on my 2013 tundra and a bunch on customer units.
If you have a comparable machine you can swap to confirm.
