Here in Alaska, the old Polaris Edge and Gen II sleds are preferred for ice racing. I don't know if that has to do with cost or if the older sleds are more aerodynamic and faster? Probably a combination of the two? Maybe it's that the trailing arm suspension can be more easily adjusted for camber?
for ovals the rev would be the best choice as long as you buy the Houle kit that comes with a new skid and new a-arms and spindles. The sleds just rail, they are a little twitchy but you can dial that out. If you dont want to spend the money for a kit then go for the zx because you can lower than with just shock mods.
