We were on houhgton lake with 3 05 machzs and 05 f7.This is what we got on the radar gun

1st machz 110 mph
2nd machz 110 mph
3rd machz 108 mph
05 f-7 106 mph

is this a average speed for a machz.I read some post with some going 122-126 the lake had a lot of snow on it but it was pretty hard packed.

I was also on houghton lk sunday radar at 109

used 410 ramps they seem to load motor good but if you loose traction it didnt back shift very well

also you must have a super picked track with 3500 engagement

192 3.75" stud boys only makes snowcones 1" track on bare Ice

when using 434 and you never felt like you were in the wrong gear

3000 engagment hooked beter with my studs

We were running all of 3000 ft.With some other post I read about this today 110-115 seems pretty much what a majority of machzs are running.I asked them if they had any problems with them they said no they really did like there sleds they did take the pipe senser off and fastened it to the sled.I like the black tunnels on the 05s there was a 01 thunder cat that run 120 on the gun when they were there.

Work on the clutching guys, we are pulling about 114mph in 1000ft and we ar eall stock except for clutching. SHould be able to get much more at 3000 ft for sure. Our speed was on clean ice so that will make a little bit of difference but you have to tinker with the clutch to get it to perform.

I actually ran 124 today on the speedo. Not sure distance but it wasn't half mile, maybe 2000 feet. It was a road not super hardpack, but pretty good. I was happy. Running 05 mapping and one degree advance with just cudney clutch kit. stock track and 192 picks with the heavy stud boy shaper bars.
