Hi Guys. Stock gears on the 2023 XRS 850 are 25 top and 45 bottom with 108 link chain. Question is whether I can use the stock 108 link chain if I change the top gear to a 27? (Or 26 but would prefer 27) Thanks and Cheers.

26 I know works. Never tried a 27

Is 504153913 the gear you have? Do they make a 110 Link chain? Best to use the stock 108 link when installing a 27T top gear?

No idea, its just an old junk 27 tooth top gear we got in the flea market at hay days!!

Get a 26, no doo is capable of pulling more on trail conditions

I put a 26 in last year, and I was very happy I did. Definitely improved top end for me significantly. Do it. No loss in bottom end at all.

A 26 fits but for whatever reason, they are getting hard to find.
